ENC 1101-B3 & B4: Writing for Discovery

Seems these days in this close circle of my blurty friends the Sims are spreading rapidly. I have joined the revolution and am in the online regiment. Last night my roomate said he found some extra money so he re-subcribed to The Sims Online and since each of us had our own copy of the game, we're sharing the pass for onine. Other news is that this is my last week of classes and next week is just finals. I should be home by next Saturday, so you special people(Gaby) who I just gotta see, now's your chance. My room is actually clean for a change and very nicely organized. My room had space to move around in it now, I'm still not used to it. LOL. If any of you ever get Sims Online, my name there is QuickSilver and I live in Blazing Falls. I might go to a friends house this weekend up here, cuz she wants me to party with her since her birthday was last week and this'll be our last weekend up here for the year. If I go, I'll definitaly be off the wagon, the alcohol will flow through me like blood.LOL. Sorry to those who wanted me to calm down on the drinking, but this will be an exception, seeing as that I have been sober for two weeks. So let me have my fun and don't hassle me about it. As for school, I'm only gonna pass two of my four classes, so I'll have to re-take the ones I failed in Spring and I might use one of my forgivenesses so my GPA doesn't get that much of an asswhoopin. In Spring I'm going to be one of those nerdy guys and study my ass off, because I do not wanna mess up here and have to go back to Homestead and attend a shitty-fuck of a school know as MDC. I've been talking to "important" people on the phone, which since I rarely talk to people on the phone is a big stretch for me. Well you important people know who you are.

Well, last night was a night to remember. Actually, I don't remember much of it, but I found out this morning that I was the comedy of the party. My friend, Jaimie (the designated driver) was informing me of all the wacky things my friends & I were doing.

ok so i totally have to get surgery when i go home for christmas...who's lookin forward to that? oh! oh! not me! im eighteen years old and i have to have my tonsils removed TWO DAYS before christmas. this is seriously going to be the worst christmas ever.

so im thinkin that going to bed at 330 in the morning on the day of your bio exam is not such a good idea. good thing i woke up at 6 in the morning to start studying, right kids? haha this has been the day from hell. working off 2 and half hours of sleep i still need to finish this portfolio for english. woohoo! that was sarcasm in case you hadnt noticed. well at least we dont have to walk it there i dont think my weak little legs would take me there. oh well its my own fault i knew what i was doing when i went to go see "School of Rock" last night at the student life building. really great movie by the way. jack black is hilarious. there wasnt an empty seat in the house. wow i just realized how much i write in tangents. i think i just get really hyper when i am tired but then i just crash so i dont know if it is such a good thing. anyway, just had to write this so i could put it on my blog checkout sheet. be back later cause i need one more.

Thats right. Dusted off the old SNES over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Theres no cable in my room so I have a brand new TV thats never been turned on til this week. Its getting plenty of use now. I brought back all the old games: NBA Jam, Street fighter 2, Super Mario World, Final Fight, etc. I would take any one of those games over the bullshit they pump out 'nowadays'. During the early 1990s they really cared about the game. They considered things like; game play, story and whatever else goes into the making of a quality game. They made sure you got your moneys worth on every single purchase.

I changed my intended major the other day. I was undeclared for a while, but when I started researching other majors I decided that Political Science was for me. For one, it has alot to do with history, government and politics which is right up my alley. I'm really into that kind of stuff to begin with anyway.

I am about to finish the final draft of my paper and I am very proud of it. I have enjoyed this course very much. I think for me it really helped get away from the high school writing format of five paragraph form.

The dawning of the semester and the beginning of a new one is upon me. These four months of school have flown by me faster than any other time period in my life. If you think your senior year of high school was fast, go to college for a few weeks.

This class had definitely been a change of different writing for me. I am used to writing a ton of work with paper and pencil and turning it in to the teacher. In this class, I post ALL of my writings online so everyone in class, and anyone else, can view my writings.

This week has been very stressful because of final exams coming up. I am borderline failing two of my classes and if i do fail my dad is going to make me go to UNF in Jacksonville. He will refuse to pay for me to go to school here, so i really can not fail because i like going to FSU.

Have you ever been left home alone by yourself with no one around? Sitting in the darkness wishing there was someone there with you because you can bet your life that there is someone outside of your room? If you have, you would totally understand where I am coming from. This is what happened this weekend.

I really don't have to take as many as finals as my peers seem to do. Regardless though, I know I'm going to have to study pretty hard for all of them. I only have three official final exams to take total and it's spread out amongst Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. That is kind of nice because it gives me a day between each to study. My first exam that I have to take is Chemistry. That is the one that I really have to do well on. In order to pull off a decent grade in that class I need to ace this final!

Oh my God, i can not believe that this is my last journal entry for the semester!! It is kind of weird though, i kind of have mixed feelings about this entry. I mean i'm glad that i don't have to stress out about having to do two one hundred and fifty word journals a weeks, but it is still kind of sad to know that i will probably never have to do these little journals again.

God i have the worse week coming up. i have so much work to do and alot of my classes decided to have the final exam this week instead of the following week of exams.

i cant wait till its all over and i can go home for a month and do absolutely nothing. friday i have two finals and a quiz this english paper and a research paper for my psychology class.

Well im sitting here finishing up my final draft and self evaluation and realize now that my first semester of college is over. what a good one it was. i couldnt have asked for anything better except for maybe some better grades.
