- The Longman Writer's Companion by Anson et. al., available at Bill's and the FSU Campus Store.
- The use of a computer and Internet access for all writing assignments.
- At least one floppy disk (it's a good idea to make backups).
- Paper and pen (which you will bring to class).
- An email account of your own that you will check regularly.
