Monday, October 13

• By 9pm tonight, read through the coments posted by classmates about Portfolio Draft 1. Respond to their comments with your thoughts for working on your draft.

Tuesday, October 14

• Portfolio Draft 2 -- Prepare a nearly finished version of your Portfolio Draft, 1000 words minimum. Post to your weblog by class time. Everyone in both sections will also bring one printed copy of their draft, double-spaced.
• Skim through Longman (207-258). Pick out at least two of the grammar and mechanics issues mentioned in the text that you are unclear about, or had not heard of before. Prepare a 200 word written response discussing these issues. Post to your weblog by class time.

Thursday, October 16

• No class meeting. No later than the normal end of class time (6:30 pm), complete your Portfolio Draft of at least 1000 words. Post to your weblog. Complete a Mid-Semester Self-Evaluation, no less than 500 words (do not post to your weblog). Complete the Blog Checkout Sheet (do not post to your weblog). Save your Portfolio Draft, your Self-Evaluation, and your Blog Checkout Sheet into one file. Include this file as an attachment, as well as copy and paste the contents of the file into the body of an email, and send both to the instructor. Be sure to check your Sent Items folder afterwards.
