Tuesday, September 9
- Exploratory A, 1st draft -- Having picked either your first, best, or worst day at FSU, complete a 600 word minimum narrative on the topic. This is a first draft and could/should be very rough (minimal proofreading and editing). Do not merely write a chronology of your entire day. Instead, render your most significant moments in detail, letting the picture created with the words tell the story. Post your draft to your weblog by class time; section B3, also bring a printed copy, single-spaced, for yourself and each of your group members.
- Revision assignment for Exploratory A, 2nd draft, to be given in class.
Wednesday, September 10
- By 9pm tonight, read Ede Chapter 10 (270-291). Write a 300 word minimum weblog in response to the following prompt: Discuss both the methods you will use for responding to your group members' writing and the important revision strategies you see in the sample revised drafts in the text. Explain why. Group C will post to the class home page; everyone else, post to your individual weblog.
