ENC 1101-B3 & B4: Writing for Discovery

Its incredible the way our minds tend to think and produce weird things like dreams. Ive always had the most awkward dreams but nothing like last night.

It started off with me standing alone watching these two people. We were on a pier, overlooking murky green water. I saw a grandmother and her grandaughter standing in the middle, towards the end. All of a sudden, her granddaughter fell off of the pier and into the ocean. I ran over to see if she was okay and when I looked down, the ocean had turn into flames. It looked like a bottomless pit with fire and smoke everywhere. It almost resembled hell.
After realizing that I wasn’t going to jump in to save the girl, I began to slowly walk away. I somehow ended up in a car. I remember starting the engine and then driving off into the distance. As I was driving on this path, something made me veer off the road in into a ditch.
I immediately woke up from that dream. I quickly recollected myself and fell back asleep.
I never tried to understand what the hell that dream was all about. I tend to find myself dreaming of the most awkward things that I can even describe. Our minds, how powerful they are.
