Poem (untitled)

This is the first poem I've written in years, so here goes...


I’ve never been in this kinda slump before
Keep yearning for, the one I adore

I’m embarrassed...by my ways
I’ve been like this for too many days

I’ve always prided myself on being strong
I don’t need anyone, to help me carry on

Why, do you do me like ya do?
Why do I always think, dream, feel for you!
It’s like you always keep me on the side
Guess what...all it does is hurt my pride

So how does it feel, on the other end?
Just want you to know, im still your friend
But its time; I’m moving on
I don’t need anyone but me.
