ENC 1101-B3 & B4: Writing for Discovery

Football is a game full of different opinions on points of the game, play calling, players, management and other topics to this extent. My friends and I no mater what when ever we talk about football the controversy over what player or team is better or the coach should have called this play or that play. One topic we end up on a lot is who is the best running back of all time. Between me and my friends we have narrowed it down to 3, Walter Payton, Emmett Smith, or Barry Sanders. Me personally I think Barry is the best but all three have different running styles.
In a Football Digest a Tracy Kovar wrote “In the past couple issues of FOOTBALL DIGEST, fans have been debating who should be called the best running back ever. This is a tough call because there have been so many great ones. Yes, Emmitt Smith deserves to be near the top of the list But what I find bothersome is that no one is mentioning the best, Barry Sanders. Unlike Emmitt, Barry didn't have that huge line blocking for him and a supporting cast of Pro Bowlers. Barry was so fun to watch. I truly think that Barry still could come back and shatter the record. I hope he does.
