Obsession With Feet

I am not sure if anyone else has noticed this but it seems like the film director, Quentin Tarantino, has an obsession with feet. In most of the movies that I have seen him direct there is always a clip that has the camera soloey fixated on someone’s feet. I think that it is usually women’s feet. I am not really sure but I am positive that he always has something to do with a feet shot in all of his movies. If anyone has seen his recent Kill Bill, there is about a minute clip showing the main actresse's feet while she is in a car. The same thing happens in Jackie Brown. In Pulp Fiction, there is also a fixation of feet in that movie. I am not quite sure about Reservoir Dogs. I am going to watch that movie again to see if there is a clip on someone’s feet. I just thought it was pretty weird how he did this in just about all of his movies.

Could Be...

I heard that rumor, too, but then again, it could be tabloid hype. When he was on the Howard Stern show, he denied having a foot obsession, but if you watch his movies, there are moments where the camera focuses on the actor's or actress's feet. Could Mr. Tarentino be disguising a foot fetish as crafty camera work? Hmmm...Smiling
