JE Oh Christmas Tree
When I got back to school after Thanksgiving break, I was really in the Christmas mood. Looking around my room for the first time in a week, I realized that my room was totally devoid of any holiday spirit. And Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year. So I decided to get a Christmas tree. Sure, my room is not that huge, but it is definitely big enough for a small tree. My original battle plan was to get a saw and drive out to some woods and illegally cut one down, but having not scouted out any good spots, I decided that it would be way easier to go buy one from Mike's lawnmowers on Appalachee Parkway instead So my roommate and I headed down there in my Jeep. We got there, and I'll tell you what, real Christmas trees are expensive! If I change my mind about bounty hunting, I may just start a Christmas tree farm instead. Anyway, we got a tree. Its only like 4 feet tall, but it smells really good. Then we went to Wal-Mart and bought a cheap tree stand, some cheap lights, and some really cheap ornaments. We set it up against the back wall in our room, and it looks great. It will be a real morale booster for the coming exam week. Plus I felt cool carrying a Christmas tree down the hall. So now I will be in a great holiday spirit the next two weeks. Merry Christmas!
