ENC 1101-B3 & B4: Writing for Discovery

Well, my internship is finally ending. It has taken me longer than expected to break out of my shell, which is disappointing. This is my last week and I’m beginning to feel sad, however they offered me a job for the spring. I don’t know if it would be an internship or a real job. I want to make some money so if it is another internship; I know that I will decline.

I am applying for another internship, in Senator Bennett’s office. Yes, it is an internship however; it is in a different office, with a different objective. Plus, it will not be for the same length of time. I will most likely be working from March until May 2004, during the congressional session. Sounds wonderful because I will be working with the Senator of the floor. They are also trying to give me a stipend, which would be nice.

I am taking a really heavy course load in the Spring Semester so I’m trying to not work as much. I want to get into the Business School next fall and that requires good grades. I’m really pushing it this semester. I’m not even sure I’m going to be getting above a 2.9. I need an ‘A’ in English, hint hint! Just kidding.
