SKA National's

This past weekend I had the chance to go to Biloxi and fish in the SKA National Kingfish Tournament, and it was a blast. There was over 400 boats in the tournament and all of the boats in the tournament were spectacular. There was about 20-40 boats that would price out around $180,000 and many more just below that. Now that you know about the boats, how about the fishing. The fishing was probably better than all of the boats. We fished 2 days and the biggest fish from both days were added together and the team with the highest total after the 3 days won.

First off we did not win but we did catch a 22 and 37 bound fish for our two days. But the thing was is that on the second day we were throwing back 30 bound fish left and right. And some other boat were throwing back 40 bound fish. Where I am from that size fish is a tournament winning fish but in Biloxi for some reason they are much bigger. Which made it a really fun tournament. And next year we will hopefully be back in the National’s and have the same weather and the same amount of fish.
