Here's the situation.....
I made arrangements to go home with a few friends several weeks ago for Thanksgiving. Everything was fine with that until I got into a nasty arguement with the driver. Unfortunately, because Thanksgiving is in little less than a week, I was unable to find another ride home and a flight would cost me around 700 bucks. No thanks!
But, because of this huge blow out, I am now forced to stay in a car with a person who hates me. It would be perfectly fine if it was a short car ride home, but we are talking about 8 hours here!
To my surprise, the driver had mentioned that he wasnt smashed on having to bing me home, but since he already agreed to it, I could tag along. Gee, how sweet of him! But my problem is this.....How do I survive an 8 hour car ride home with someone who I no longer talk to?
After a few moments of thinking about this problem at hand, I told myself that I could simply just go to sleep in the back seat, and when I woke up I would be home. That way, no fights would break out, and it would be a peaceful ride home.
Then I come to find out that it would no longer be a group of people going home in the car, it would be just me and the "enemy". Great, now what am I going to do? I cant just crawl up into a ball in the back seat and ignore him. I feel like now I have to entertain him or something. And what would happen if I did go to sleep and he got tired, closed his eyes, and got into an accident?
I think for Christmas im just going to fly home!
