Elton John
Written by DHW03 on November 21, 2003 - 19:15
This weekend I got a ticket for the Elton John concert, and I am really excited about it. Also the fact that one of my good friends is coming back in town for the concert is even better.

The one thing that sucks about going to the concert though is that I had to pay $83 of my own money for the tickets. The way that I look at it though is that this is probably the only time that I will probably be able to see Elton in concert. So the expense for me to go to the concert is well worth it.

Plus there is no opening act for him, which means that he will be playing for about 2 ½ hours. Which will be great, since he will probably play a lot of his old songs which are my favorites. I am sure though that in the end, the money that I spent will be well worth this once in a lifetime experience.

You Are So Lucky!

Make that incredibly lucky! $83 might sound like a lot of money, but to see him live performing is well worth it. Be sure to tell me (well, us) how it went. And make sure to mention what songs he sang. I love his old songs, too! (I love "Bennie And The Jets", "The Bitch Is Back", and "Blue Eyes", to name a few) Smiling
