ENC 1101-B3 & B4: Writing for Discovery

Everyone that knows the big Florida State/ University of Florida football game is just around the corner, and wouldn’t it be nice for this Thanksgiving holiday to be a winning one?

I know what im going to be doing Saturday afternoon when my school’s team with be showing it up in Gainesville. Now it’s only fair to say that both of these teams are ranked extremely high and are both highly respectable teams. Teams that know what determination is and know how to play with heart.

My guess is that which ever team wants it more will come out the winners, but being an FSU student and having total faith in my team, I feel that we have what it takes and more to dominate. My only hope is that our quarterback, Chris Rix, is the market with his throws. He definitely has the talent, but let’s all hope he doesn’t get flustered and crack under pressure.

Because UF is our last regular season game, I would like nothing more than to see our team make the people in Gainesville wet their pants. The only downfall is that we aren’t playing on our own field. If we don’t wind up winning then I will not only be disappointed but out a bunch of money. I’ve never been the type to bet my money on things, but I decided to make a bet with a few friends. The bet is 50 bucks goes to the person who’s team wins. So let’s all hope that our team comes up on top!
