Bounty Hunting
After making a 78 on my Precalc test today, and failing to raise my average to a C going into the final, my life has taken a sudden shift in direction. I am going to drop out of school and become a bounty hunter, in search of either Osama bin Laden or Saddam Hussein. If I could bag either of those mofos, dead or alive, I would be able to instantly retire. Osama has a 25 million dollar bounty on his head, and Saddam's is at least as much , I can't remember the exact number. I still think that it would be cool to be a physical therapist, but I can't cut the math and this would be a way more exciting job anyway. After my sudden enlightenment, I looked around on the web and found a good article, Mos Eisley of the Mountains. Remember the desert town Mos Eisley from Star Wars, which was crawling with criminals and bounty hunters? Well this article tells about a real life Mos Eisley. It is the city of Peshawar, Pakistan, and it is where most of the bounty hunters looking for Osama have based their searches out of. This is a frontier city on the brink of civilization, with many connections to the wild Pakistani tribal lands where many think Bin Laden is in hiding. I figure this would be a good place for me to start my hunt as well. First I will drop out of the university and cash the few savings bonds I have left as well as clear out my bank account. Then I will use this money to buy supplies and weapons, as well as to outfit my Jeep Cherokee for the rough mountainous terrain of central Asia. Then I will see if any of my friends would be willing to go. If not, its cool, I can find him by myself. Then I will ship myself along with my teammates and equipment over to Pakistan, and from there the hunt is on. I will be leaving after Christmas. Anyone who wants in on the action let me know.
