No More Car A Lot Less Freedom

When I went back to Tampa this past weekend it made me realize how much of under appreciated privilege having a car is. There are so many teenagers that have cars and I don’t think we realize how much freedom it gives us. Since I don’t drive my car up here my parents took me off of the insurance and I don’t drive back in Tampa either. It is such a huge set back when you think about how much freedom you have with one. I didn’t really feel it to much up here since Tallahassee is such a walker supported area. Tampa on the other hand was pretty bad. I had to find rides everywhere. Luckily my girlfriend was in town the same time as me. I chilled with her a bit and didn’t have to worry about driving anywhere then. It just seemed so weird not having a car in Tampa. The craziest thing is that I might not be able to drive for four years or so.
