Elf

Yesterday, my friends and I were bored so we all decided to go see that new movie Elf and it was pretty funny. I actually thought it was going to be funny than it was because Will Ferril is really funny so it came out as a slight disappointment but it was still really funny. It was about this orphan that is raised by elves but then realizes that he is a human and not an elf and decides to go out on a quest to find his father and the things he does and encounters are really funny. For example, first of all, he wears an elf costume pretty much the whole movie which is pretty funny in itself. I don’t know, if I saw him walking on the streets like he was in the movie, would probably just think it is just some crazy drunk guy, which actually makes it funny. Anyway, if feel like a funny movie with simple non-adult humor, this movie is a good one to see.

What Suprised Me About That Film...

I have to see it, but when I read who directed it, I was shocked. “Elf”’s director, Jon Favreau is the same guy who produced “Swingers” and starred in “Very Bad Things”. If you’ve seen either of those films, you’d understand why I was astonished to see him direct a PG-rated movie. I heard he took the project for his daughter (I wouldn't want her to see those films either!).
