Okay can I just say that I am very nervous about getting sick? I spent the whole weekend with my friends Kim, Merrick, Kat, and Ali. We shared everything from chapstick to drinking glasses over our whole entire trip.
On our long 12 hour trek back to FSU, Kim felt awful from the previous night and she then lost her voice. We all just believed she had a little soar throat from belting out the lyrics to songs uncontrollably. However, her sickness greatly increased!
Last night around 11:00 pm, she went to the emergency room because she was so weak and her appetite was completely gone. She had an IV shoved in her arm and a lot of blood work done. Around 5:30 am, she was still very miserable in the hospital while she was awaiting the test results. The nurse walked in the room and informed her that she had mono.
Isn’t that just great? As of now; Merrick and Kat don’t feel well at all, yet Ali and I feel great! Hopefully, it won’t creep up on me…
