Process Memo: (Alcohol) 2nd Draft
Written by Better_Ingredients on November 4, 2003 - 15:31
Procrastination killed me on this draft. I had such great ideas for this prompt and due to time restraints I couldn’t really implement any of them. Rather than simply not handing the paper in I’ll see what kind of credit I can get for handing it in partially completed. I can continue this draft when I get back from class today. I'll finish it up then.
- I need (again) to site these statistics.
- I had problems with my intro. in the first draft and instead of changing it I decided to use it in my second draft with only minor rectification. This was done primarily due to the time constraints left by my procrastinating. The intro. definitely has to be re-addressed in the third draft.
For this second draft I intended to border on the line of absurdity while arguing my point— I wasn’t really able to delve into that aspect of the paper thus far—but that was my intention. I meant to approach the paper this way so I could still infer a preference to my original opinion concerning alcohol abuse and possible solutions. I will definitely finish this draft when I get back from class.

Interesting No Matter What

I think that it is a good idea to border on the line of absurdity like you said. this way it makes the paper more interesting, instead of just providing the polarized position (this is this, that is that).

No matter what you come up with, it will be an agreeable paper, because the audience is all of us college students, who almost all of us can relate to alcoholic preferences.
