ENC 1101-B3 & B4: Writing for Discovery

This revision assignment was the worst. I probably should have picked a different topic, had I known we were going to have to do this, I probably would have. I don’t know a whole lot about the other side of my argument, although there is one it was hard to think in the other direction. My topic is very hard to think of pertinent, good, substantial ideas over and that was very difficult to get through.

My paper was having a lot of problems staying on the right track and I don’t think that this was one of my strongest works. I didn’t realize everywhere this paper could take me and I believe that I could have supported it a more rounded way. From the comments I got last week I tried to play off of them to give me good ideas since everyone seemed to have strong feelings against my paper.

I am still having trouble with organization and transition words in my paragraphs, but I have been using the Longmire Handbook to help with my grammar and some of my punctuation problems. I want this paper to be a better experience for my writing and help me to grow. This was a very grueling assignment because I didn’t have a lot of good ideas, but I worked through it.
