ENC 1101-B3 & B4: Writing for Discovery

When writing this draft I wanted to open the readers mind up to the fact that it is not the athlete’s fault that they are making so much money. It’s the fans fault. “This matter is all in the hand of the people spend a hundred dollars on a football ticket or pay a hundred and fifty dollars for the new Jordan tennis shoes. Until the supporters of the game stop spending the money they do, the salaries of professional athletes will continue to increase, and there should be no complaint until an effort is made to stop spending as much money on the sport.” I agree with a lot of people when they say athletes are over paid butt until I stop spending a hundred dollars on a football ticket I have nowhere to point my fingers at there salaries except myself.

I also wanted to lat people know that pro sports these day is no longer a game it’s a business. “Lets say you pay this player thirty-five million over a span of five yeas. Next season rolls around, its opening day and your stadium is full and team apparel sales have more than doubled, are you still going to think that that athlete you just paid thirty-five million to is making to much money.” Its all about how you as an owner of a team can fill the stands.
