By 9pm tonight, read Ede Chapter 2 (22-through the end of the first paragraph on 38) & Chapter 8 (223-231). Write a 300 word minimum weblog in response to the following prompt: Make use of the "Guidelines for Analyzing Your Composing Process" (33). Discuss your writing process and how it might change, both in light of what you have read in the readings, as well as the understanding that revision will be an intricate part of this class. Group A will post to the class home page using the "create story" link; everyone else, post to your individual weblog using the "create blog entry" link.

By 9pm tonight, read What We're Doing When We Blog. Next, visit Weblogs.Com. Spend five minutes and surf at least 1 dozen blogs (there should be several hundred to choose from). Pick at least four and read through them carefully in more depth. Write a 300 word minimum blog in response to the following prompt: Consider what Meg Hourihan has said and what you've read in the weblogs you have just explored. Drawing on Hourihan's definition, discuss the important characteristics of blogging that you see. Be sure to clearly point to the specific blogs you are referencing. Make sure you use hyperlinks in your post (review How to Make a Hyperlink} .Group B will post to the class home page; everyone else, post to your individual weblog.
