Final Portfolio Draft

Absolutely Ridiculous!

Sitting and discussing our trip, Nataly comes to the decision that none of us should drive our own cars. Our cars were either in too bad of shape to make it that far of a distance or our parents spent a ridiculous amount of money on our cars and don’t want us to damage them in any way possible. Kristen thinks that a minivan is way “un-cool” and Andie says an SUV is too much of a man’s car. Instead, I get on the Nokia and call up Travelocity and rent a 2000 Volkswagen Beetle. C’mon, this isn’t necessarily the best car on the planet for a road trip, but it’s the only one they have available.

It wasn't until this Thanksgiving break that I actually realized how weird my family really is.

My cousins are always wired and hyper. They always seem to be fist fighting all of the time! It's rather annoying.
His Parents are SOOOO Weird!

My boyfriend's roommate, Aaron, came home from Baghdad Saturday. He has been over there for almost a year now and he's glad to be back for at least a little while before he had back until February.
No Thank You!!

I don't understand why people have to be so f*cking rude all of the time.

I work at Wingstop, of which I have stated in other blogs, and I serve all types of different people and I would have to say that approximately 2% of them actually have manners.

Elf.

I absolutely loved this movie. It was a movie for the whole family. I mean it was just gosh darn cute and hilarious! My friends and I recite quotes from this movie all the time.

I went and saw the movie with my boyfriend and we didn't expect the movie to turn out like it did. We both didn't expect that it was going to be one where there were a lot of kids in the movie theatre with us. We talk about it sometimes with some of his friends who saw the movie and they absolutely loved it too.
Thanksgiving!!

I am so excited about thanksgiving this year!

I am going to Virginia with my brother and probably one of my best friends. It's going to be a really long drive but that's ok. I get to see my dad's side of the family, of which I never see anymore. We are going to my grandparents farm property.
There's always gotta be some trouble!

My friends and I are having a shit load of trouble figuring out our living situation for next summer.

All of us want to live together but only three of us are actually ready to move forward with this. One of my friends still isn't entirely sure whether she can live with us because her mom wants her to be an RA in a dorm so she can get her housing for free. They're not the richest people in the world and so she is still a little shady on living with us. Also, on the other hand, she's not even sure if she wants to live with us, period. I mean she tends to get a little annoyed of some of us rather quickly if she spents too much time with us. This is very understandable but she gets into some of these fits and starts yelling that she doesn't even know if she can tolerate living with us all full time. Whatever - that's her deal.
"Road-trippin'"-Process Memo
Written by nolegurle22 on November 18, 2003 - 16:05
I really didn’t like writing this second paper from the last one. I have discovered that it is extremely difficult to put things into present tense. It is a whole heck of a lot easier to write things in past tense and I had never really thought about that shit so much until now.

Process Memo: "Bestest" of Friends

I thought this writing assignment was extremely fun!

It didn’t take me long at all to write this paper because of all the fun I was having with it. Actually, at first, I admit, that I was having a little difficulty getting started. I started thinking about anything and everything that popped up into my head.
Here's a scary thought: Me & a Shotgun! ;)

My daddy is going to be so proud of me!

This past Saturday, my boyfriend and I headed up to Wal Mart and got some skeet plates for shooting practice. We got in the car and headed over to where he normally goes to shoot skeet with his buddies. But of course, my boyfriend has the worst sense of direction and we got lost. About an hour last we arrived at where we wanted to be.
My First Hay Ride Event

I think I’m falling in love!

Just this past Monday night, my boyfriend and I went on one of his fraternity trips. It was a hay ride at the fraternity presidents farm house. Everyone went with their girlfriends or dates and had an absolutely incredible night!
Yeee Haaawww!!! I'm soooooo excited!

This is going to be one of the best weekends of my life!

Today, my friends and I are going to start looking for a house for this summer and next semester. Exciting enough as it is alone.

Also, tomorrow morning, my brother and I are getting up early as hell and getting in the car and driving down to Orlando. That’s where I live and I’m so thoroughly excited about my trip home.
