Last Night
Well, last night was a night to remember. Actually, I don't remember much of it, but I found out this morning that I was the comedy of the party. My friend, Jaimie (the designated driver) was informing me of all the wacky things my friends & I were doing.
Twist of Fate (Final Portfolio Draft)
The cool breeze rushes by me, and the chilliness numbs my fingers. Autumn has arrived full force, and our high school is surrounded by fallen leaves of various shades. The bright lights currently flood the stadium, and the crowd is illuminated by the radiant glow. I look around me only to discover the wild enthusiasm of the fans, the intense concentration on each football player’s face, and the peppiness unleashed in every cheerleader.
Stress
Ahhh, the next two weeks are going to be so completely stressful! I have so much to do in so little time! I have two finals on Monday, and for one of those finals, I have absolutely no clue what the hell I’m doing. I better start studying for that class right now! It is going to take me all week by the looks of the huge pile of papers I have to study. My last final is Thursday, and then I have to wait until Saturday to go home. Most of my friends are leaving Thursday night so what am I supposed to do? Have a party with myself? I just want to go home again!

There's No Place Like Home
Now, I know what Dorothy meant when she said, "There's no place like home." Being back in New Jersey made me realize how much I truly missed it. It feels great not to be made fun of for my accent! Can I tell you that whenever I first meet someone new here, my accent is the topic of conversation at first. In the beginning of the year, it was cool but now it's getting kinda old!
Process Memo: Fate (3rd Draft)
For this draft, I expanded the ending of the story as my peers advised. I really tried to think about many details of an accident scene, along with every little move one could make in such a horrible situation. The accident was a major part of my story so I definitely dwelled on it more in this draft. I tried to paint a more vivid picture in the reader's mind. I even spoke to my mom about my narrative; and she informed me that when people are in such intense shock, they sometimes freeze up. I then decided to add that to my story to make ot seem realistic.

RIP Oreo
I'm so upset because I just found out that my little kitty cat died. She was so adorable, and she was only six years old. My dad found her this morning, and she couldn't move well. My mom immediately took her to the vet as soon as it opened at around 8 am. Later on in the day, they called her at work and informed her that they could put her to sleep or she could take her to the University of Pennsylvania for further treatment. My mom then sped to the vet so she could take her to U of Penn, but she had died. Fluid had filled her lungs, and she had severe heart complications. She was one of the 20% that could not survive the struggle. Ethernet...aaaaaaah!!!!
When I came to FSU, the Ethernet was great. It was incredibly fast when switching to various websites, and I was unable to download songs in a flash. Now it is a different story! For the past two weeks, it has been working extremely slowly. It took me practically a minute just to transfer from one page to another, and I can’t even download a song in practically an hour. It’s just not good for the health of myself and others! I get extremely angry and stressed, and I start to throw things.
There's No Place Like Home
Ahh, I'm so excited because my Mommy just called and informed me that she purchased a flight ticket. I get to go home to Jersey for Thanksgiving!!! About two months ago, I told my parents that I could just stay around Florida with my new friends for Thanksgiving because it wasn't really a big deal. Then, my friend whom I was supposed to go home to West Palm Beach with now has mono.
So, I told my mom this, and she bought a ticket immediately. I'm so happy because I'm homesick and I miss my family along with my two best friends, Neal and Sheena.

I can’t believe how easy it was to get wrapped up in my story. When writing from a character’s point of view (1st person narrative), it makes me feel as if I truly am the character. For example; at the end of my story, I was very depressed because it sort of felt as if my boyfriend had died. Once I started writing, it was hard to stop. Before I knew it, I was well over 800 words.

Transformation
Last night, I watched the Britney Spears interview with Diane Sawyer. Half my friends are practically in love with her, and they want to be just like her. I mean, I think she is gorgeous, has a great body, and is a great performer; but she is a little fake. She acts like a sweet innocent angel, but deep down she is not. She smokes, drinks, has sex, and curses. Now, everyone is well aware that she is not who they once thought. The interview really revealed a lot of things about her. I think the entertainment world is now calming down with the whole portrayal of her being a little Southern belle sweetheart.
Mono
Okay can I just say that I am very nervous about getting sick? I spent the whole weekend with my friends Kim, Merrick, Kat, and Ali. We shared everything from chapstick to drinking glasses over our whole entire trip.
Process Memo: Twist of Fate
When thinking up a creative idea for a story, I had no idea what I was going to do. At first, I thought, “Ehh, piece of cake! We can write about anything.” But then, I found the whole assignment to be rather difficult. I looked around my room and observed one of my old cheerleading pictures so I decided to write about a football game. My imagination then just ran with it.
